On September 29, the highly anticipated annual event for car enthusiasts – the China Motor Show (Tianjin) 2024 – opened at Phase II of the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin).
Jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Sub-Council (CCPIT-Auto) and the China Chamber of Inter national Commerce Automotive Chamber, the exhibition spans 200,000 square meters. It has attracted major domestic and international car manufacturers, with nearly 100 brands participating, many making their debut at the event. According to data, China's total vehicle sales reached 18.76 million, a 3% year-on-year increase, with sales of new energy vehicles hitting 7.04 million, a 30.9% growth, ensuring the country's continued global leadership. Vehicle exports reached 3.77 million, a 28.3% increase, positioning China as the world's largest car exporter.
Against this backdrop, the China Motor Show (Tianjin) 2024, themed "Towards Innovation, Towards Promotion," serves as a platform for global automakers to showcase their latest models, technologies, and concepts, highlighting the industry's push towards high-quality development amidst the intelligent electric vehicle revolution.
As the largest and most comprehensive auto show in northern China, the China Motor Show (Tianjin) also strengthens the industrial cluster advantage of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, fostering collaboration and development in the area.
